This morning, as I walked up to the cafe for breakfast, I heard a Paul McCartney song that I had not heard for a long time–and it wasn’t just for my ears–it was open and free as it played on the radio. I was giddy and alive.
๐Go through the day and night and hear that God is your fan, he’s singing your song.๐
๐ถBaby, I’m amazed at the way you love me all the time,
And maybe I’m afraid of the way I love you.๐ถ
๐5 You have multiplied, O Lord my God,
your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us;
none can compare with you.๐
Psalm 40:5
๐ถMaybe I’m amazed at the way you pulled me out of time,
You hung me on the line.
Maybe I’m amazed at the way I really need you.๐ถ
๐Wondrous.๐
๐ถBaby, I’m a man, maybe I’m a lonely man
Who’s in the middle of something
That he doesn’t really understand.๐ถ
๐Were I to proclaim and tell of them,
they would be more than can be counted.๐
๐ถMaybe I’m amazed at the way you’re with me all the time,
Maybe I’m afraid of the way I leave you.๐ถ
๐ถMaybe I’m amazed at the way you help me sing my song,
Right me when I’m wrong-
Maybe I’m amazed at the way I really need you.๐ถ
